Originally available only for the telco's postpaid plans, the vivo Y36 5G can now be purchased on its Lazada and Shopee online stores in the Philippines.
The vivo Y36 5G features a similar 2.5D plastic design with IP54 water splash and dust resistance coming from its 4G version, but with slightly different colorways in Mystic Black and Crystal Green. The difference is it is lighter at 190 grams.
In front, it also sports a 6.64-inch FHD+ LCD screen. But, there is no high refresh rate this time.
Under the hood, it features the 5G-ready 2.2GHz 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 6020 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
It also has 8GB RAM, up to 8GB Extended RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a large 5,000mAh battery capacity with 44W Flash Charge tech that can charge the phone to 50 percent in just half an hour.
The device also has a 50MP main shooter and a 2MP helper for portraits. In front, it uses a 16MP selfie snapper.
The device also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, 200 percent volume speaker, dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE (aside from 5G), Bluetooth 5.1, and dual SIM slots It runs with Android 13 OS with Funtouch OS 13 skin.
