Samsung has launched the Galaxy S24 Series, its newest flagship smartphone lineup equipped with Galaxy AI. Check out below the specs and features of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, as well as their prices in the Philippines.
Compared to the S23 Series, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Series features significant hardware upgrades and new AI capabilities. With the introduction of Galaxy AI, the Galaxy S24 smartphones are now smarter than ever, bringing enhancements to various aspects of the devices. Galaxy AI is a term that encompasses all AI-related features that come with the Galaxy S24 series and One UI 6.1, such as Live Translate, Interpreter, Chat Assist, Android Auto, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, and gesture-driven Circle to Search.
Moreover, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has received some noteworthy upgrades. These include a brighter display, a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and a new 50MP 5x zoom telephoto camera, which promises lossless-like magnification even at ten times. Its other cameras remain unchanged. Further, noteworthy design changes for the Samsung S24 Ultra include a new titanium frame. It also now has a flat-screen and slimmer bezels, departing from the curved screen of previous models. The back and front panels are a new generation of Gorilla Glass Armor.
Meanwhile, changes made to the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+ are quite small and not very significant. The S24 and S24 Plus come with brighter displays, an upgraded Armor Aluminum 2 frame, and a new processor, the Exynos 2400. Both handsets appear very similar to their predecessors, with only minor design adjustments. Although the Galaxy S24 and S24+ have the same camera hardware as their predecessors, Samsung promises improved overall quality due to AI-driven algorithm advancements. Some minor increases in display sizes and battery capacities have been made, with the Galaxy S24+ having higher upgrades.
