realme joined Qualcomm at CES 2024 to introduce its periscope technology at its 2024 media preview event in Las Vegas, realme revealed that the realme 12 Pro Series will feature an industry-leading telescopic telephoto lens. The fastest-growing smartphone brand in the world unveiled its upcoming realme 12 Pro Series in person, providing attendees with an early glimpse at its luxury watch design and cutting-edge periscope telephoto technology. Some speculated that the device could even be the market leader in imaging for its category.
Sky Li, founder and CEO of realme, recently published an open letter declaring 2024 the year of rebranding. In conjunction with this announcement, realme unveiled its new slogan, "Make it real." This media engagement signified the first official communication from realme subsequent to its rebranding. In tandem with the slogan's effort to reposition realme as "a tech brand that better understands young users," the realme Number Series will be marketed as the cutting edge of Next-Gen Imaging.
- Flagship Periscope Telephoto Lens
A prospective preference among young users, according to research conducted by realme, is for telephoto lenses with a zoom of at least 3X, as opposed to 2X. The only feasible option for enabling high zoom levels in slim phones is to utilize a periscope telephoto.
In contrast to the high costs and technical complexities typically associated with flagship smartphones, realme is dedicated to bridging this divide by developing periscope telephoto technology that was previously exclusive to flagship smartphones but is now accessible to a broader demographic of youthful users.
realme has thus developed a periscope telephoto formula that guarantees high-quality images in diverse conditions. This formula was initially unveiled in the realme GT5 Pro, which was introduced worldwide in November 2023.
