Google features updates highlights include:

  • Quick Share: A new cross-Android solution for peer-to-peer content sharing that integrates Google's Nearby Share and Samsung's Quick Share capabilities. Users can easily share files, photos and text with nearby devices, regardless of their brand. Quick Share will also be available from LG and other manufacturers on Windows PCs.

  • Fast Pair: A feature that allows users to quickly pair and connect their Bluetooth accessories to their Android phone or Chromebook. Fast Pair is expanding to Chromecast with Google TV and other Google TV devices, enabling users to switch audio output between their headphones or speakers and their TV.

  • Chromecast built-in: A feature that lets users cast content from their phone to their TV or other devices. Users can now cast TikTok videos and live streams and enjoy new apps on Google Play that are optimized for use in cars. Google also announced that more devices will launch with Chromecast built-in, such as the 2024 LG TV series and the 2024 Hisense and TCL TVs.

  •  Matter integration: A feature that helps users connect and control their smart home devices from different brands. Google said that LG TVs and select Google TV and other Android TV OS devices will act as hubs for Google Home, allowing users to add and manage Matter devices on their home network.

Google also announced updates for Android Auto and cars with Google built-in, such as sharing real-time battery information with Google Maps for electric vehicles, sending trips from the phone to the car display, and accessing Google Assistant, Google Maps and more on Google Play directly on the car's display

Google said these updates and features will roll out in the coming months. Users can visit Google's website to learn more about how Google helps them do more on Android.
